River Beach of Vale do Rossim (Penhas Douradas) – Serra da Estrela
The River Beach of Vale do Rossim is located in an artificial lake, in Penhas Douradas, in the heart of Serra da Estrela. It is the highest river beach in Portugal, at an altitude of 1437 meters. It is a demanding walk of 14 kilometers, but it will be worth knowing the Vale das Éguas, having a privileged view of the Penhas Douradas and crossing the famous Talisca da Mestra crevice.
